When trying to open the Firefox icon on my computer I was told cant I open the application “Firefox” "because it may be damaged or incomplete." SOMEHOW HAVE NOW GOT AN ICON MARKED FIREFOX 2 AND MANY OF MY IMPORTANT BOOKMARKS HAVE DISAPPEARED

Thought I should bring it to your attention. My default browser is Firefox and I use Earthlink as my email. Earthlink just informed me that Firefox no longer supports Earthlink. They have asked me to switch to Google Chrome where my email works fine. If you need to contact me , my phone is [phone# removed from public] and my name is Ken Westlund. Oops. I replaced my version of Firefox with the the newest version, but my OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 does not support it. Now I can't browse with Firefox. How may I get the compatible version back?

Hoping someone can help me with this asap.

I was prompted to update firefox on my mac laptop.

So I did the update by clicking the button available at the top of the firefox browser, but now I can not open Firefox at all.

When I click on the firefox icon it does not open firefox and this message appears: You can't use this version of the application "Firefox with the version of OS X. You have OS X 10.11.6 . The application requires OS X 10.12 or later.

I understand what this means but not sure how to revert back to the previous version of firefox.

When installing the new update/version of firefox, i have deleted the old version of firefox.

Following the instructions above I went to: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ , but can not find the previous version of firefox that I need.

The only info I have on firefox is version 102.2.0. I am after the version before this as assume that is the one compatable with my laptop currently (i can not update the OS ).

Can you help me download the previous version so it is compatable with my mac laptop?

lost synced tabs on phone from old imac. goal was to move all tabs on phone to new imac desktop. is this possible? Did I do it wrong? Is this a two way process? I have my Mac and thunderbird set to auto-update, so I am not sure where the culprit lies. But my system did a Mac update and a Thunderbird update both recently. I'm now on Sonoma 14.3.1 and Thunderbird 15.8.1. When I started thunderbird it spun for 10 minutes. I thought it was locked up initially, did it again and even tried starting in safe mode. But after about 10 minutes, it eventually stopped. Problem was all my calendars won't display. I can add or remove either. The interface is barely responsive, and it crashes after a few minutes. I started Thunderbird from the command line to see if I could monitor the errors. I get about 100 of the following:

For example: When I'm working on a Washington Post (LATimes) crossword puzzle, the internal link to "settings" doesn't work on Firefox, but it does on Safari.

For example: When I'm on the website for my apartment building, the internal links to "maintenance requests" and "make payments" work on Safari but not on Firefox.

Hi there. I have a MacBook Air. It is running on 13.2.1 (22D68), which I think is Ventura. A couple of days ago I noticed that while I can still download any attachment to the browser from gmail or hotmail, I can no longer drag and drop to my desktop. I have tried the download/drag and drop to my desktop capability on Safari from both gmail and hotmail, and it works fine. This seems to be a Firefox issue. Can you please tell me what I need to do to fix this issue? Thank you so much! Firefox is the best! James H.

HI FIREFOX! Many websites are not readable. I can see these correctly in Safari. I tried getting the latest Firefox updates. It did not fix the issues. Bizarrely, I can paste into another application and read the gobblity gook. So I think it is just a font issue. I really do not want to go back to Safari. Poshmark and Fedex are the two websites I experienced issues with today. Fedex would not interact properly with Firefox but I could find my tracking information on Safari. I have had the problem previously but did not have time to look into it that day. 16" Macbook Max M1 running Monterey

Starting a few weeks ago, firefox would not load any accounts via https://login.microsoftonline.com/ one one of my Macs.

I was running the latest version 121.xx on MAC 12.7.2

Nothing would fix the site issue, so I tried re-installing and refreshing Firefox. Followed all the troubleshooting steps.

Now firefox is completely broken. Tried creating a new profile. Running in safe mode, etc.

It sometimes will load pages, but extremely slow. But generally is unusable.

Firefox works on my other macs just fine (Profile uses sync with those machines)

Safari and Chrome work perfectly fine. No malware. No ISP issues. No firewall.

Please advise a fix or I guess I will delete everything firefox related.

This is happening every few minutes now. It started right after the 97.0.0 update. The 97.0.1 update doesn't seemed to have helped.

I don't use any browser extensions.

I never saw this issue before, and I have been using Firefox as a primary browser for many years. I'm on a MacBook Air, M1.

When visiting sites such as the Russian Wikipedia, characters that are in the Cyrillic Times New Roman font display as blocks (shown in image). Safari does not have this problem.

Problem: "Video cannot be played on your device as it does not meet content protection standards" Message when trying to stream videos but only on Amazon Prime.

I have searched the internet for an answer only to be told the problem lies in the browser. I find this confusing because a few months ago I was always watching Amazon Prime videos on Firefox browser. What has changed? How can I correct it? I have the latest Firefox update (108.0.1 64 bit) on my mac Book Pro, MacOS Ventura 13.1.

Every time I open a new tab or go to a tab that I have open, when I come back after my computer has been asleep and try to search for something or refresh a tab, it will give me an error message. I have to close the tab and search again then it works, sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times to get it to work. This just started happening with MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 and FireFox 103.0.2 updates in the last few weeks. I tried restarting my computer and I deleted the Firefox app and reinstalled but nothing helps.

Hello. I would like to use Firefox on my Mac, but my processor is a 2.7 GHZ Quad-core Intel i5 and I would want to download the Vidiq extension. I have checked the other system requirements and they are fine.

Will Firefox work with this processor? Would the Vidiq extension work ok?

Have been receiving security alerts for the past month or so. Now firefox is restricting my access to my printer due to a possible security problem. I have also seen an alert that a certificate for use expired last month. What can I do, or who can I talk to (cannot find any support phone number.
