I am using Firefox on a desktop and recently upgraded to 112. I have been trying for the last 6 months to SHORTEN the address bar (NO, I do NOT use Search on Firefox) and cannot find an answer anywhere. I am completely exasperated at all controls Firefox has taken away from users the past few years and this is the final straw before I leave you. PLEASE tell me how to REALLY shorten the god-awful length of the url bar so I can see more addons ON the desktop. Thank you very much.

2013 Macbook pro running Big Sur 11.7.4. The escape key no longer works when using full screen mode to return to the Firefox browser. I must quite and restart Firefox anytime I am in full screen mode. My escape key works on full screen mode on other browsers.

Hi. It's hard to see where to enter text on some sites. How do I make text entry boxes easier to identify please?

Every time I open a video on a website and try and enter fullscreen mode, it never lets me exit fullscreen mode. Then I have to close the entire window. Also, sometimes I have to refresh the page once or twice to even get in to fullscreen mode. Google is only showing me stuff about Firefox fullscreen mode, NOT fullscreen mode for videos, which is the actual problem.

My fire fox keeps muting all tabs when I have more than 1 tab running with any audio. Discord and any other app with sound can mute everything too. I need to close everything that uses audio and then reload the web page with only that 1 tab open in order for audio to start working again.

I currently have a setting checked telling Firefox to delete all cookies when closing. I want to set some exceptions but cannot uncheck that setting hence I cannot make the exceptions. So how can I make exceptions so as to save some cookies upon closing? Please be specific as I am not familiar with a lot of assumed firefox computer jargon. Thanks

My laptop was stolen. In my new laptop I try to open all my sync tabs at once, but I can't. I signed in, I see all the sync tabs under the "sign out", but how can I open them all at once? I read that I should right click the devise name to do that, but I can't right click it.

I am unable to connect to a certain site on FireFox unless I am logged into NordVPN. The site works on other browsers though. I tried clearing cache and opening site in a new private window.

This issue is recent, the site worked fine with or without VPN in the past.

This is the message I get when trying to access the site without a VPN connection: Unable to connect

I have the bookmarks set to "always show" on my macbook, and there is no issue with the bookmarks when in window mode, but when fullscreen they disappear :( Additionally, when I set firefox in windows mode, there is a white bar at the top that does not leave. It is about the side of the tab section in the browser.

The logins that I put manually synchronize with the account between the devices, however, the passwords that i imported from chrome through the .csv file do not sync.

Several years I logged into an extended family member's computer, accidentally sync from another browser and now this folder has been following me around. The thing is it's full of some really gross things. Mostly extreme right opinion pieces and just so much porn. I really want this folder to go away, but when I right click it the delete option is grayed out. I've tried deleting them one by one, but everything I close the window and reopen it again, all of the links are back. How do I purge this from my mozilla account?

The old ff had a list of drop down menus at the top. File, Edit, View, Bookmarks, Tools. I know it can be pulled up by hitting the alt key but is there a way to Keep it there permanently always available

Tell me how to restore my bookmarks. My browser is Firefox, but the bookmarks are also missing when I open Yahoo on Chrome, indicating the problem is probably a Yahoo homepage problem. OS is Windows 10.
