For the last month I've been having this issue when downloading things from Firefox beta I get this "com.android.phone has stoped working" along with "phone has stopped" error anytime I download something.

Hello! I use this tab. Galaxy Tab A (2016), unfortunately it is not capable to safe files from Firefox, e.g. PDF files. Samsung browser is working but I like to use Firefox. Best regards Ted Ernhill

So, new phone and FF upgraded, now when I download there is no indication that my file is actually downloading, either on the phone status bar or in FF downloads. Is there somewhere I should be looking to see if a file is "currently" downloading?

On this link if the options are selected, there are two embedded PDFs in two tabs on same page. The firefox Android app downloader randomly gives the option to download only one of the two. I wish to download both the PDFs. Is there a way to stop the firefox from giving download option, but see the embedded PDFs on the page itself. So that we can download it by clicking on the embedded PDFs.

Why i can't resume downloading when I close Firefox browser for Android The download bar disappears from the notification panel ? It's better if active downloads appear on the downloads page so that we can manage them

How can the android FF app not have a way of showing progress of downloads? I find this absolutely bizarre, when every other browser does this. It's critical information to have. You have no idea how much has downloaded or how long is left, the downloads window is just blank until it's fully completed downloading an item.

I recently found an image i really like, but the author removed it. It is still open in my browser tab and I can see it in full resolution. I found it in the about:cache section, but besides looking at the hexadecimal display of the data (which is 3 MB and thus too big for the common android clipboard), it seems impossible to get this image out of the cache. Tap-hold on the image in the firefox tab gives the option to save the image, but that doesen't work since it tries to download it again, which is impossible. Is there any way or tool to get the image saved? On a PC, I know that this would be easy, but on android, it seems impossible.

Why is it that no matter what I download i can’t find the file or it’s not saving it anywhere? Even in the downloads on Firefox it says no downloads after downloading.

How can download any webpage as PDF for offline sharing in new updates. In earlier version I could do it from: tools-save as PDF. But now the save as PDF does not work.

Please solve the issue.

Why isnt it possible to check the download progress (in mb or mib) from the "downloads" menu in the App? This is even more frustrating when downloading files with unspecified size. Or am I missing something?

Recently I started to experience an issue that whenever I would specifically download a file using the Firefox web broswer for Android, my mobile would temporarily lose it's cell reception. After a few seconds it reconnects. The issue does not appear when downloading (for example) images from the Wikipedia mobile application, or using the Google Chrome browser. The issue is still present when using wi-fi or a VPN connection. This makes me very concerned about my privacy and the safety of my data on my device. The android version used is Android 11 and the app was updated as of September 9th

Browser doesn't show the progress of downloading ( how much %) in downloading notification or there is no any option to resume pause or cancel downloading. Also kindly not that my phone have Android 11 and is sufficient for any app to run properly. So I can't able to understand why this issues happened. Also one more major issues I have faced during writing this complain to you, while attaching a snapshot of the issue as explained above I have selected wrong snapshot and I can't able to remove it. See attached snapshot of the same.

I having an issue running applications and opening all sorts of files I have downloaded with the browser. Media files, APK, pdf are the types of files I have downloaded and none of them seem to be opening. I even tried renaming but they still don't open. I downloaded the same files on a different browser like operamini and the files open on my fone

I got error message "download failed" when download image from pixiv.net using Firefox 105.1.0 and Firefox Nightly 107.0a1 but I can download from Brave android 105 and Firefox PC and Firefox Developer Edition. I tried change from wifi to cellular, disable extention, clear cookies, change protection from enhance to normal, update my phone os, allow files access but still can't fix the problem. I would appriciate if there's some ways to fix this, please help me.

Im really at a loss here. i cant figure out why i cant open google settings now or download the vpn im looking to purchase it wont let me download. im having to use passwords all of a sudden. i was used to how it was now im turned upside down trying to figure out what the hell im doing. i ready to go back to where i was if i cant get help figuring this out. everything is saying its not safe to go here now. I have successfully downloaded a video from hosting website and it doesn't play with any video player the format is MP4 "the video is corrupted" I have tried to download it again and the same problem happened. Finally i download it from chrome and thanks god it worked I use Firefox mostly so i need a solution.
