Good morning, I have a problem with disappearing bookmarks, but I can organise the backup of the places.sqlite, but I assume that won´t be enough to recover, therefore my question is, which files would be needed or is the one mentioned sufficient?

With the update to 115.10.0esr my bookmarks that were on the left hand side of the screen are gone. When I look at bookmarks there are a few, but I had multiple folders for different subjects, I do not find. I would like to have the procedure to return my bookmarks back to the left hand side of the screen with all of my bookmarks, bookmark folders, and other bookmarks like it was prior to the update. I Cannot restore 3/1 or 2/29 Bookmarks!!! What's going on with Firefox??? Now, all there is in my Bookmarks are five listings saying, " BS2trash folder for undo of bookmark deletes- DO NOT REMOVE ..."

I wouldn't have to do this except that somehow, a Bookmark folder disappeared. All too often is has occurred. I have many, many very important Bookmarks. How can I get them back---and soon?

I know this is an ongoing issue but it seems like nobody has mentioned it in a while so I figured I would stir it up again. I am fed up with the bookmark double spacing and having to scroll down all of the time.

If nothing else I would think that the Firefox team owes all of its loyal users an explanation as to why they don't seem to want to fix this probem.

I recently upgraded from Window 7 to windows 10. Ever since, the spacing between the bookmarks has significantly increased. I read several post about this and they all seem to be looking for something in Firefox. I think it has to do with something in windows 10, not Firefox. Any ideas? I've already done the Density/Compact thing. Slight improvement, but not anything like it was under Window 7.

When a new bookmark is created it goes to the end of the bookmark listing in the left panel. How can I force Firefox to automatically put each newly created bookmark in the correct alphabetic position in the left panel Bookmarks panel? I DO NOT want to alphabetize the entire panel, I just want each newly created bookmark to go where is alphabetically belongs. I do not use folders so have one long list for bookmarks menu. thank Bob

Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?
