Hi there! It started yesterday. I keep getting warning messages from Bitdefender that a connection Firefox was trying to establish was blocked. I will include a screenshot of the warning. I searched the link included in the warning and it comes up as a Firefox related link. I had six or seven of these warnings within the last 3 hours of using the computer and am concerned and irritated. Firefox is updated automatically on this computer and I think the last major change would have been the "cookie jar" thing(?). Obviously, the warning only says that the a certificate has expired. I kinda need your help. I just switched from Windows to Manjaro Linux and I cannot retrieve my Firefox bookmarks and passwords. I do not have access to the old setup because I have formatted the disk and I have only this one on Linux.

I have used my Firefox account multiple times in order to login on a new device and every time it has retrieved my bookmarks and passwords but not this time. Before logging in from this device I had to reset my Firefox password because I had forgot it -- is this a security measure maybe?

Are my bookmarks and passwords gone forever? Thanks!

I've been seeing this more and more, but my toolbar will change by itself every restart. The add tab button will shift all the way to the left or not appear, the bookmarks won't appear, etc. I'm not sure what can be causing this, and I saw no way to "save" my current configuration other than pressing the done button upon using the custom toolbar, which I had done every time prior to fix my configuration. Does anybody know why this is occurring, and a possible fix? Thank you

On 2015 MBP Mac OS El Capitan 11.6 new Firefox 78.15.0 esr won't sync with my older MBP running El Capitan 11.6 but it will sync to the 2015. How do I get the 2015 replacement computer to sync?

When I open Firefox browser it automatically opens 3 tabs at web sites I have chosen . Now I want Firefox browser to automatically open a 4 th website. It was easy to do this several years ago by clicking on the opened website and moving the address to the home button. But this doesn't seem to work now. Has the process changed or have I just forgotten how to do it?

My profile seems to be corrupted. Starting Firefox with that profile completely crashes the computer, but when I reinstalled Firefox and it started with another profile it was fine. Switching back to my profile immediately crashed the computer. Is there a way to extract the history/bookmarks/passwords/etc. from my profile folder without starting Firefox? Thanks in advance!

This if Firefox 131.0 on MacOS 10.15.7 (Catalina).

Firefox updated to version 131.0 64 bit. Bill payment functions on my banking web site stopped working. I cleared cache and cookies and restarted PC but didn't fix it. I tried using Microsoft Edge and the banking web site worked as always. The bank IT person said it was a Firefox problem. Also, the site says not to block 3rd party cookies, enable cookie tracking and cross-site tracking. In Firefox I made all changes to allow these things for this site but it still doesn't work. Looks like the latest Firefox update is causing a problem that always worked in the past, while trying to fix something else.

Firefox 131.0(aarch64) OSX 15.0.1

1st Issue: The 'Clear Cache' doesn't seem to completely clear the cache. Eg: I'm logged into gmail, I go to Privacy & Security and then click Clear Cache and History. I navigate back to gmail. I'm still logged in.

2nd Issue: When I right click and 'Open Link in New Private Window' this doesn't actually take me to a private window. I have to select File/New Private Window and paste the link to that window.

Suddenly this morning, a new toolbar appeared on my copy of Firefox (131.0) showing one item, Getting Started, which I have no use for. I managed to delete it and it was replaced with something telling me to place my bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar, which I also don't want. How do I get rid of it as it's nothing else for me but a waste of screen real estate?

I accidentally clicked on "never remember passwords" and now Firefox doesn't ask me if I want it to remember a password. How do I reverse that so that Firefox does ask me if I want to remember the password?

I seem to be paying £20 per month as a donation. I am not saying I want to change this, but how can I review/cancel/change the donation? I appear to have been paying since April 2024 via simonchampion1952@gmail.com

There has been an upgrade of Firefox ESR to version 128.3 on Debian 12 bookworm.

Before the update, I could play videos, now I can't.

I precise I can play videos on Chromium, or with the video players.

I have libavcodec58, libavcodec-extra59, ffmpeg 5.1.6 packages installed.

There is an error in the console: Media resource xxx.webm could not be decoded. Specified “type” attribute of “video/mp4” is not supported. Load of media resource xxx.mp4 failed.

This command seems to indicate the session is X11 and not Wayland: ``` loginctl show-session 1 -p Type Type=x11 ```

I am getting the following error message: Platform version 131.0.1 not compatible with miniversion. Please see the screenshot attached for further details. I cannot open firefox due to this error message and I receive this error message every time I try to open the Firefox.

I now get the message "Certificate for the mailbox is not valid for that server. Someone could be trying to impersonate the server and you should not continue". My provider tells me that the certificate is used for a number of emails. Any suggestions please?

Just done latest update, but now all my tabs have changed Colour to a vivid Red, such as NEW MESSAGE box tab. The same is for all other boxes. How do I change these colours?

Also, recently without notice Conversation view appears in my IN Box folder. I hate this. I want my IN emails to be in my IN BOX and my Sent mails to be in my SENT BOX. How do I revert to the previous system?
