Hi. I have version 99 and need to upgrade to the latest. When i tried, the saved passwords dont show up. What versions to i need to upgrade to first to step it up with the passwords and where are links for those older versions? Thanks

Hello :) For some time now my firefox doesn't allow me to preview PDFs. If I open it, it gets downloaded at the same time which I don't need. I already tried the thing with renaming the handlers.json to handlersOLD.json but it didn't work :( does anyone know how to fix this?

The right side of screen, scroll and keys (close, minimize, etc..) on menu bar not working, any fix? When I move the entire screen leftwards, then the scroll and keys work...

Hello . I hope you be fine. After reinstalling Windows, I installed Firefox and enabled Sync. My addons synced on firefox but my bookmarks didn't. I had very important bookmarks. I tried everything but my bookmarks didn't come back. Please help me to fix this big problem.

I have installed two dictionaries, "English (United Kingdom)", and "French". However, when I go to check a spelling, (right click/Languages over the suspect word), I am offered a third dictionary choice, "English (United States), which I do not want. I have removed the US dictionary and even the language pack but the menu item persists. I can find no way to get rid of it.

Hi there , I am interested to know if Mozilla support group is aware of the problem Microsoft update KB4474419 causes? I am running widows 7 sp1. I installed the update as you mentioned in your Firefox 100 release notes. After reboot , I got a beep and a black screen - win 7 won't start. I had to find a way to delete the update so I could boot my system back. I asked few of my colleagues that use the same OS and they experienced the exact same problem. Surfing the web , makes it quite clear - this update is faulty and not compatible with win 7 as Microsoft claims. I would like to get a straight answer - can I update my FF99 to FF100 , without the notorious KB4474419 , or , as of FF100 , win7 sp1 is no longer applicable to Firefox ? Thanks. look4

Firefox crashes when switching between tabs. Worse than usual crash, the last page i was viewing is there but unresponsive to mouse or keyboard including contr-alt-delete. Must push and hold the power button on my Dell XPS8940. Windows 10 Home 21H2 OS Build 19044.1586. Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0.

There was a window with 7 tabs, 1 playing a youtube video and 5 with videos not playing, one other site with no audio and another window with a website streaming only audio. When the system stopped, the speakers made an odd sort of buzz sound until powered off. I am on the latest version FF 99.0.1 but a similar crash happened on version 98.0.1. Before that this Dell never locked/crashed up this way.

This Dell PC has Realtek audio just like our HP W10 laptop and they both had issues when new with all sound not working when playing a youtube video only in Firefox (HP Feb 2021 and Dell Oct 2021). Launching Groove Music and playing an mp3 always got the sound working. Problem did not cause any program to crash. Windows updates to drives eventually fixed the problem but it only even happened in Firefox. Current problem is new in the last month or two and only on Dell.

Dear Madam or Sir,

since updating to Firefox 99, we are unable to view PDF files in Firefox, because we are unable to select how to handle PDF files in the settings, cf. 1.PNG We don’t have any enterprise policies enabled except for disabling updates, cf. 2.PNG. We tried disabling hardware acceleration, but it did not help, cf. 3.PNG We tried safe mode and an empty user profile, both to no avail.

This problem seems to be irrespective of the user profile because when I roam my user profile to a machine with FF 93 ESR, there is no issue and I can view PDFs in the browser.

Is there any suggestion how to return the built-in PDF viewer?

when i execute a google search and click through to an Ad result, i get the following error message.

QUESTION: how do i setup Firefox to allow click through of Google Ads?

P.S. i do not have any ad blocker extensions enabled. this is only an issue in Firefox. i have no issue with click through on Chrome or Safari.

I wanted to print out an order placed online but could only print part of it.

The order took up about 1.5 pages when displayed in Firefox, but I could only print the upper 2/3 of it. That’s all the Print Preview displayed. It was cut off at the bottom. There was no option to print the missing lower third or a second page.

I can scroll Firefox to display the lower part but Print Preview still shows only the upper part.

I can change FF’s scale to 80% in order to show the whole order on the screen, but Print Preview still only shows the upper part.

I can scale Print Preview to 70%, but then it’s difficult to read.

I don’t recall having this problem with earlier versions of Firefox.

How can I print my order on 2 pages so that I can read it?

Couple days ago Yahoo Mail stopped downloading attachments of any type. Only happens when using Mozilla. Yahoo mail works fine with edge and android. The following had no affect: (1) signing out and in to yahoo mail. (2) Clearing cache etc in Mozilla (3) rolling back recent windows updates. Occurs with all types of attachments, so not an app issue. Appreciate your help, please include only those suggestions which consider the "suddenly" part...

Not sure when or why but I noticed a few weeks back that when I do a web search using the "images" tab in search mode, no images are ever found. I am in 'safe search" mode, but I also have been for years before and this was not happening.

When I start a fresh session in firefox there is always some Kb of data showing under the "Cookies and site data" section in settings. How can it have site data and/or cookies when it hasnt even visited anything yet? Whats worse is that sometimes it can be around 8Mb. So even if it is something that firefox itself puts in that folder upon starting a new session why does the data size vary that much? And its not random, it will either be a couple of tens of Kb or around 8Mb.

I have "Delete cookies and site data when firefox is closed" checked. Under "Manage exceptions" there are none. History is set to "Never remember".

I actually just checked now. Backed the text above to a file, turned all my addons off, and exited firefox entirely. Made sure there there are no firefox processes running, started it up to blank tab, and first thing I see is that there are 8.8Mb of data under the "Cookies and site data" section. I press the clear data button and exit entirely again. No processes running, start a new one, and theres 72Kb of data there. What is that?

I always use private browsing so I thought that my history was totally not being saved, but discovered recently that when I started to type within the search field, that many of my past searches were listed in the search field with the type highlighted in purple. I had to manually go in and delete all of these past searches. I don't want any search history to be saved. Is there a setting in preferences that I'm somehow missing? Why is Firefox saving these past searches if I have it set to Always Use Private Browsing?

After the latest Firefox update, some of my sites are returning "Network Protocol" Errors. I can log in on other browsers, but Firefox is the one I normally use.

My email changed from a .com to a .org and I was forced to reinstall windows before I could change it so I can't recover my account, which has passwords I need attached to it.

Firefox is adding +1 before 7-digit phone numbers. There are two things wrong with this. The + sign is only appropriate for cell phones and some websites will not accept phone numbers with the prefix as valid. When will this be fixed?

My Firefox browser is out by 4 hours. I am eastern and it recently switched to west coast time zone on its own. It did it once before and fixed itself in about a week. Other browsers are fine. I would like to stick to FIrefox but my shop tells me to switch. Can you tell me how to correct this problem? Thanks, Glen [email removed from public]
