i tag all the mails in my inbox with colours. Some of these colour tags were ones I customised with my own descriptions and names. All the colour tags have today disappeared except for the red/important ones... and the red/important tags were one of the default TB tags. All the custom tagged emails now display as untagged. Help, anyone? I've got 400 untagged emails and it's actually a very important sorting device for me.

Hello to your good team I am looking for a plugin for your browser that will do something for me I want to automatically refresh the site page and sound an alarm if the slightest change is made on the site. There is the same extension in the list of your browser extensions... but it doesn't give an alarm if the site changes. For example, I want the plugin to give me an alarm when I receive an email, or if the price of a product on the site changes, the plugin will give me an alarm. Help me please Thanks

how do I change the "from" and "subject" font appearance in thunderbird inbox list view? They are currently a little bizzare with the sender appearing smaller than the subject line etc. I am not familliar with .css file settings and so will need to be considered a simpleton with any explanations. Any aswers I have seen refer to fire fox and assume that I know how to create the changes required or add a .css file somewhere. Thanks in advance. I attach a screen shot of my current inbox view . The PCH.com website says that I need to remove (whitelist) Adblock from their site in order to be able to play the games on that site. Firefox extension site says that they have removed Adblock....I need help!

Hello! I am trying to create my own theme using Firefox Color, but the custom image I uploaded doesn't show in the actual theme, only the little preview. It is definitely small enough, so I do not know what the problem is. Is this able to be remedied? I am adding a screenshot so you can best understand what I mean. I have always been able to use the Mac setting to Double Click Title Bar to Minimize windows and it's always worked fine with Firefox. Until Sonoma, but with a stipulation.

It will not respond at all to a double click, but ONLY when I have chosen to show the title bar in Firefox. It works fine clicking in the tab plane as long as I have Show title bar turned off. This is a bit bizarre, but it appears a recent update of Firefox no longer works like that in Sonoma. Works fine on a Windows 10 machine and on a Mac running an older OS.

Note that I did do all the proper troubleshooting, reset Firefox, start in safe mode and all to no avail. When Show Title Bar is turned on, double click to minimize simply does not work.

I would like to customize my New Tab page to show only the icons (shortcuts) I specify; I think it would help if I could change the size of the icons so fewer show, but I cannot find any setting to change the way the page looks. This is a new problem since I got a new computer with Windows 11. In Windows 10 and earlier Firefox versions, I could have only a handful of shortcuts that I wanted and it did not automatically add recently visited sites (I have not selected that option in the settings). I do not want to dismiss or delete shortcuts individually, but want a permanent solution.

I am really getting tired of TBird resetting my all my default preferences whenever there is an update. One more time and, contributor or not, I'll abandon the app. I've lost critical emails in the past. This time it's reverted my Threads setting and there seems to be no way to get rid of these damned thread filings. I don't want threads. They make no sense for me and my correspondences get lost as they are buried deeper and deeper into the ooze of Thread world. Can somebody tell me how to turn these things off? And can somebody please, please, please tell Mozilla to stop screwing with my settings when they update!? And don't tell me they don't because we all know that they do.

Trying to recover from a hard drive crash. Had to buy a new desktop with Windows 11 Pro (looking to be a bad move). I downloaded/updated to Firefox 126.0 (maybe also looking to be a bad move).

Have my last "working" userChrome file (it took me weeks to perfect this to my needs).

I am looking for: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

but there is no "AppData" folder. And there is no existing userChrome.css file, anywhere!

Is the functionality I am looking for a thing of the past?

Is Firefox not completely supported by Windows 11?

If so, what is the last version of Firefox that will still support userChrome.css?

Hi - I'm running Thunderbird version 115 and I'd like to export the filters from one of my iMacs and import them into Thunderbird 115 on another iMac. I don't see any mechanism to do that.

I dug around and installed the 'ImportExportTools NG' add-on but that will only import/export the entire profile (as I read it).

I'm reasonably handy with Unix if it comes to that ...

How can I get Thunderbird to instantly download all new mails from the server - instead of waiting for the standard mechanism of Thunderbird to download new mails?

115 continues to try my patience, but inflicting threading upon me goes beyond annoyance and into the reign of seriously disrupting my ability to use Thunderbird.

I've read some stuff here that I don't really understand. Is there any way to TOTALLY turn off threading for any and all incoming or stored emails? I found View ==> Sort By ==> Threads seems to have an option for "All" but that can't be unchecked.

If anyone can provide any help, I'll be quite grateful!

When visiting the "support.mozilla.org site, third-party translantion add-ons(such as "Immersive Translate") can't work. It says "can not read or change data on this site". I want to translate it on the same page rather than skipping into a new page. However, it can work on the "www.mozilla.org" site. When visiting on Chrome, there is not a problem. Is that site just privileged on Firefox ?

Is there any way to make Firefox iOS browser Dark Mode a little darker by avoiding the moments when it is loading or reloading a page and the screen is fully bright white?

After reading just a few questions and their answers here I realize that I'm never going to learn everything I need to know to feel comfortable or even enjoy using my desktop computer. As for my cell phone, I've never liked using it and unless someone helps me learn how to use all the available features in Firefox (plus everything else in a smart phone which I call that stupid phone) then I will probably end up throwing it in the garbage and will sit in waiting rooms reading a book or magazine instead of doing whatever it is everyone else is doing on their phones. Most likely they're texting which I just learned how to do a few months ago. I never thought texting was necessary for me to know but now it seems to be the only way my adult children keep in touch these days.

How can I possibly learn everything I can or should do with Firefox? I barely know how to use all the basic features even though I've used Firefox for years. Your updates come so frequently that I will never be able to catch up! Why don't you offer some courses strictly for seniors who need a lot or even just a little bit of guidance when it comes to tackling technological issues? I dislike new technology but we have to use it, don't we? So, make life easier for us older folks and offer a few virtual courses to help us learn what we need to know. Come on Mozilla you can do it. You offer the technology now show us how to use it!
