I understand the necessity of some Extensions / add-ons to "Access your data for all websites" and therefore i agree to that for some of them. So here's the question: Is it possible for the data collected by that ADDON to be transmitted over the internet to either the ADDON maker or any other unknown recipient? Or is it that they indeed are collected but stored and processed locally on my computer and never transmitted elsewhere?

Comcast suggested I change my password, so I did. It worked on my laptop but not here on my PC, I can't access Tbird emails on the PC. It will not recognize my new comcast password. HELP

For a while now, several bank credit card sites are not working correctly when I use my Firefox browser. It did in the past and I didn't have any problems but lately I'm having these problems happening on sites I've used for years. If I use another browser it will work with no problem. In fact after talking with some of the support people at some of the sites that won't work, the suggest trying another browser which works fine. I'm talking like American Express' website which I use a lot. There are other sites other than credit cards that are not working correctly and again, their support agent will tell me to use another browser. I have tried different remedies like clearing cache, history, etc. I only use few addons like AdBlock which helps to cut down on trackers and information gathers. I have set my preferences to clear out my history and cookies. I have used Firefox for so many years without problems and with the same addons without any problems. So what is causing this to happen? I do enjoy using Firefox but if I have to keep changing over to another browser so sites will work, then maybe it's time for me to stop using Firefox.

Yes, I know addons exist for it but many work places don't allow installing addons, security wise they can be a concern and these addons have poor UI/UX. I am genuinely considering using Edge over Firefox due to them having better tab groups which I never though I would say. Please implement a simple tab folder, literally just what current Edge has. It is a very useful basic feature and I would really love to have it included in my favorite browser I have been using for over a decade. Thank you.

I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of this BROWSER HIJACKER. It just seems that I can't get rid of it. When I try a simple search on the search bar, it redirects to "BING". I just tried searching travel, and this is where it took me: "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=TRAVEL"

I don't have anything against MIcrosoft, but don't want to always go to a BING site. Once I hit the enter button, it says "redirecting....." Anyone know of an answer for me?

For months, I've experienced the Bookmarks menu collapsing (Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu, and Other Bookmarks headings appear but all bookmarks are just gone) and locking up (those headings cannot be opened and closed).

I have finally noticed that this happens when I am using Windows File Explorer to drag and drop files into my Google Drive opened with an entirely separate Google Chrome browser running concurrently with Firefox.

To be clear, I have Google Chrome and Explorer at the top of my desktop, with Firefox running behind them. When I drag a file from Windows Explorer over to the Google Chrome browser, the side bookmarks window in Firefox goes haywire. Close and reopening the bookmarks menu brings it back, but the issue remains.

I have been using Thunderbird for years to access several @charter.net email addresses, lately administrated at Spectrum, which took over Charter. Everything was working normally until today. I can still receive emails, but when I send, I get an error message asking for a password: "password required for outgoing SMPT server" Manually entering a password in that error message box doesn't help. Spectrum support is not helpful beyond confirming that my email sends and receives normally as long as I access it on their website. Three clues: 1) Spectrum recently announced "new and improved" email. 2) One customer service person described my email addresses as "legacy". 3) My gmail address sends and receives just fine from Thunderbird as usual. Android Samsung fold 4 has had Firefox with bookmarks from initial set up..doesn't automatically add new bookmarks and no folders immigrated from other FF devices which work between themselves!

    I also get no sync listing when I hit the 3 vertical dots, tho the phone is listed as active I'm ff devices on mymacs!

I can't open my Excel attachments in ThunderBird.

Is there a setting I need to open. The one I use by default only gives me word, wordpad options. or choose my own, which is still word and wordpad.

I'm an old school draftsman and I have been using Firefox for over 25 years. I have always had good experiences using Firefox, until a few months ago. I can't get my gmail through Firefox anymore. I get CloudFlare security ERRORS so much I've almost quit using Firefox completely. How can I fix these problems and continue using your browser?
