Hello There, I'm using thunderbird with two email accounts, Hotmail.com and Outlook.it but since some time now, some e-mails are no longer readable.... If I open the same e-mails on the Outlook website I can see it correctly...

Since moving from Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (Focal Fossa) to 22.04.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) 2 days ago the appearance of my Email (from the Inbox) has changed. Not in a nice way. On the web I found ways to re-install Thunderbird (using the Thunderbird "Help" option) but that does not work anymore. Thanks, Teun.

When using amazon the login and page load times are excessively long. More often than not I can open MSN, load amazon, login, and find what I'm looking for before Firefox has completed signing me in or searching for an item. This is not a once in a while problem, it happens every time with amazon, some times worse than other times. Ive deleted and reloaded Firefox, cleared all history and tried as many other things that I could find online to try, none of which helped.

I can't remember when this problem started, but the volume dips down for maybe 1-2 seconds shortly after the start of anything with sound, like YouTube videos and MP3s embedded in a website. On the same phone with Chrome, the problem does not happen.

I have a Blackview Tab16 (10" screen), which I bought last year; it was running Firefox quite happily until a couple of months ago. Now when I click on the icon, I get a sort of 'welcome' screen (with some message about a search widget?) for a fraction of a second, then FF closes and I get an error message saying 'Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed.' The version of FF is 126.0. I was told to try clearing the cache, but there is nothing there to clear! The tablet is running Android 12 / DoKe OS V3.0.

I have an 8" Blackview tablet which - despite needing to be plugged in to run all the time! - opens & runs Firefox perfectly happily. It's my main browser on my MacBook as well, and will run on my iPhone.

Kia Ora, my Gmail account has stopped downloading to Thunderbird.

I hadn't changed any settings before this happened. Have looked for solutions online, the one I saw here suggested changing the saved password in Thunderbird, which I have done, changing three gmail listings to my current gmail password.

The fix here also suggested deleting the current account, but I can't find that either.

Please advise.

My wife & I have the same PCs running Windows 10 & Thunderbird 115.11.0 (32bit).

We have a hosted web-site that also supports email, and we each have an email account (eg neddy@goon.com.au & minnie@goon.com.au). I've checked that both our POP server configurations are identical but despite that about once a week minnie@goon.com.au receives a warning to add security exception but neddy doesn't. This started happening two weeks ago after a years error free running.

The host has checked that goon.com.au has a valid SSL certificate, so what could be causing the discrepancy and how do I set about fixing it please?

Opening messenger was not a problem in my firefox. But recently i cannot access my messenger anymore in firefox. Everytime I try to open messenger it crashes. But I can use messenger in private window. Can please someone give me a solution for this problem.

Thunderbird shows Hijri (Saudi Arabia Regional Date Format) no matter what Preference I choose in settings.

I've chosen the English (United States) Application Locale and restarted Thunderbird multiple times but in the header the date still shows in Hijri Format (1445-xx-xx). See attached images.

Am I missing something here? Couldn't find any clues in the config editor either. The version I have installed is the correct one (English US).

I have recently been getting an error message when I open Firefox saying "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem". This has been happening since I clicked on a mail in Mail to unsubscribe from a spam/phishing mail list, which seemed to result in me installing Firefox Private Browsing, which I had never subscribed to. I have tried uninstalling Private Browsing but there is no way of doing that. I have even uninstalled and then re-installed Firefox completely but I still have the same problem. Because of the problem I have now lost all my bookmarks and history, and am unable to create new bookmarks and history. I have been on the help forums and seen that I can Disable Private Browsing by going through my anti-virus (Avast), which I have not yet tried because what I would really like to achieve is uninstalling and not having Private Browsing on my Start menu, rather than simply disabling it. Anyway, would disabling it solve the bookmarks and history problem ? Can anyone give me the solution ? Thanks. As you may gather, I am not very techno so you would have to give me the idiot's version of any instructions or advice.

I would like to further secure my passwords but don't want to have to enter the primary password every time I start the browser. I would like it to only prompt me if a password is needed. I can go days without needing a password to be entered and open and close Firefox every time I use it. It gets tedious. Thanks!

hard drive failed on windows 10 pc, new drive put in & window 10 reinstalled with Edge browser (by experts) What do i do to get firefox browser as my main browser back with all my bookmarks etc & firefox VPN ?

Do I just download firefox installer & sign on & all bookmarks etc will be there?

The settings window opens automatically when auto fill is used. Each time I click on the pre-fill bar on a webpage, the settings window/menu opens automatically. How do I stop this from happening? (but continue using auto fill). Thank you

I haven't logged in for quite a while. When I tried to login today, the password was automatically added via the "Saved Passwords", and i was able to log in, although I recognized it as an old password, and It was different that what I currently show in my third party password manager.

When i tried the password from third party password manager, it was rejected.

I tried to change it in my Firefox password database. The odd thing during the process was that when Firefox automatically added the Firefox database stored password to the current password to be changed field, it added the latest password, the same one that is stored in my third party password manager, not the old password that it filled in on the login page.

For about the last month or so, I frequently get an error message that my password is incorrect.

I use Thunderbird to manage emails on five separate accounts. Four are gmail accounts and I NEVER have an issue with those.

The issue only occurs with my oldest email account, which is an ".msn" account - a paid Microsoft account.

I can send and receive mail on this account without any issues when I use Outlook online through my Firefox browser, but when I try to use through Thunderbird, I get the password error message more often than I don't. In other words, sometimes the emails go through, but most of the time they do not. When I copy and paste the text of the email into the web browser version, there is never any problem and I am NEVER asked for my password.

Every now and then, when the message pops up, I attempt to re-enter my password, but most of the time it still won't send, and the error message re-appears almost immediately. I have changed the password twice, but that has no effect on the error message.

I would be very appreciative of any assistance.

When ever I play a game, the video I have playing (yes I need that stimulation) all of a sudden just freezes I can hear the audio but the video just freezes unless I click back onto the browser
