Hello! I installed Firefox about a year ago, and for the entire duration it seems about 60% of the time the default fonts on various websites look weird (bold?). I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, clearing the cache, etc. See attached images for examples. Help!

I have many programs/apps in my Windows 10 task bar (at the bottom of the screen), and when one of those programs is minimized, the task bar icon for that program has a blue line under the icon, to show that it is still active, but not showing on screen -- that is, except for Thunderbird. If I'm not writing a message in TB at the time I minimize it, there is no blue line under the icon. The problem is: when I'm ready to shut down a session and I've been using Thunderbird at some point in the session and have minimized it, I can't tell from the task bar icon whether TB is active or not, without clicking on the icon. I don't want to have to do that every time I close down the computer, and I don't want to close the session with TB still active. It seems that a simple coding addition would fix the problem, and I can't believe no one else has mentioned the problem. This is not new with 15.1 -- it's been going on for several versions. The ONLY time the icon appears is when there is more than one page of TB open (like Main & Write).

Hi need to get my old firefox back before installation of new version.

I have a subscription that allows for downloading of videos using a "DOWNLOAD" button that has disappeared after new version of firefox was loaded. also my antivirus application has disappeared. How do i put everything back the way it was. I'm using windows 10.

It was working fine and now the past few days I can no longer login to my Fastmail.com account other than from my Windows 7 pc

So no one including Firefox can email me

My favourite weather app is not working on my phone, but they also have a website, so I decided to use the 'install' option from the menu to install a direct link to the website.

When I use this website in Firefox, the first question I get is my location. When I open the website again this is not asked again.

But when I use the installed link on the homescreen it ask's my location every time, like this is not saved or something like that, a bit the same as 'ingognito mode'.

Is there a possibility that when I used the installed link on my homescreen that it save's my location (history) so that it not asked every time I open it ?

I have a new email which has been set up in outlook 365. I have created the new identity in thunderbird which thunderbird set up. The new identity will receive emails, it will send read receipts, but will not send emails. It just says "sending message" but it never goes. I have waited for about 3 minutes and it doesn’t even seem to time out.

My email address is [edited] @roadrunner.com Since early May, I haven't been able to get emails because I keep getting asked for a master password. I don't know it - I don't remember ever having to create one. Please help.

Good morning, I would like to ask you about differencies (0 messages vs. 4 message) in search in TB vs. Outlook. Please see in attachment. Can you help me with this problem pls? I use IMAP settings in both email clients. BR Tibor

I was able to use items saved in my template file yesterday. This morning there are ZERO saved templates. I recreated 1, but I had 50+. Am I out of luck retrieving, and if yes, is there a way to stop this in the future?

In earlier version of Thunderbird I could type in the name of a sub folder address book, Thunderbird would recognize it and add all the entries automatically. Now, in the new improved version, this doesn't happen and the only way I can see of adding the names is to manually select and add all the members of the book. Is there a way of getting Thunderbird to add the sub folder members automatically as before?

I cannot see my accounts/emails as they suddenly disappeared. I am able to see my accounts when I go to File > Get New Messages For, but I am unable to do anything with my Thunderbird app. It shows nothing no matter where I click. The app is updated, and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled it.

Shaw e-mail has stopped working after years without issues on T-Bird. (G-mail still works) I use Shaw.ca e-mail, and recently have been getting a pop up error message. the error message reads 'The IMAP server imap.shaw.ca does not support the selected authentication method. Please change the Authentication method in the Account Settings Server Settings'. I have read online that the AuthO2 method is upposed to work, but it does no. Acckk - help anyone?

I have used Thunderbird for decades, first on Windows, and in more recent years on linux.

Note this refers to IMAP.

I have subfolders under sent for particular organisations. These have worked well for several years, but recently have found that many are not moved to their relevant folder, and some sent mail that should stay in the main sent folder, end up in just one of the sub folders. If you move it back the the sent folder it returns to that sub-folder The only change that I have made is moving from Plusnet to Zoho to host my mail around the beginning of the year. However, this problem has only been seen relatively recently, and IIRC first seen after a TB update, though there have been other updates since. When I first noticed that the sent mail was not moving to the subfolders I ran the filters manually and all of the other sent mail disappeared, including on the server. Luckily I had a backup.

I may have to make the sent subfolders as subfolders of the incoming mail though I don't really want to do that, and I don't know if I wil still have issues.

Any help will bee greatly appreciated

Hello, I have set up several mail accounts in Thunderbird. Unfortunately, the inbox of one account is not displayed in the Inbox group, the archive of another account is not displayed in the Archive group and the third account has an entry in the Sent group, but it is out of date. Instead, the current one can be found separately in the ‘Folder’ account. How can I fix this in the grouping view?

I am trying to email a link from chatgpt to my yahoo email account. When I try to open the link I receive the error 500 internal server message. I have emailed links from chatgpt many times before with no problem. Can you advise.

Sometime within the past few weeks, some images are failing to display inline. Mixed symptoms: sometimes get box where image should be, sometimes just see a link. TBird doesn't ask permission to display online content. Tried help and online search, without success. Screenshot attached. Thanks!
