Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

Hi My computer crashed today and it had to be it reformatted. I have updated the computer but i want to update my bookmarks. How do i access / restore my booksmarks from yesterday? At the moment I cannot see any of my old bookmarks all i have is the bookmarks that come with when you install firefox.

I am logged into firefox but i cannot see my old search history or find any of my old bookmarked folders.

Please help me, I thought firefox was looking after my bookmarks when i was logging in.

For years, I have had the Bookmark Toolbar always show on my initial page and all tabs at the top of page. Something happened and now it does not. I have tried resetting per instructions and it will show on my current page but then not show up my new tab and will disappear from the initial page. I tried a refresh to correct and that did not work either. I was able to get them to show on the left side of the screen but I much prefer them at the top and want to get back to that layout.

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

i am setting up a new laptop and trying to import all my current data from my old pc. Nothing is right. It imported alll the shortcuts on my toolbar from years ago. None of these are the current bookmarks from my old pc. ive tried syncing, importing again, nothing works. my bookmarks on my side bar are years old. I dont have ANY of these on my old pc as i deleted them years ago. what the heck is happening and how do i get my new pc browser to look exactly as my old pc looks. This is very frustrating. I have over 500 bookmarks on my sidebar. it looks like every bookmark i have EVER used. This is ridiculous.

For years had bookmarks in folders showing on Bookmark Toolbar. Today they are all gone. Still in my Bookmarks on the drop down Menu, but not appearing on the Toolbar. Please help. Can't seem to drop and drag them there. Also, the Bookmarks Toolbar keeps disappearing every time I go to look at a new tab.

So why can't Firefox make their bookmark system more simple? I can spend 10 minutes looking for a bookmark that I KNOW I have & end up just googling for the site.

Windows auto-updated and my bookmark toolbar disappeared

I still see all of my bookmarks in the "Bookmarks" list, but none of them appear across the top of my screen, where they usually are and I can't put them back.

When I go to Bookmarks on Firefox for iOS the past couple days, as I scroll the list freezes - I have to reboot Firefox completely as it won’t let me open a link or click done to get out of Bookmarks. Any ideas? I restarted the phone already.

Whenever I use the searchbar in the bookmarks manager, it always searches all of my bookmarks, but sometimes I might only want to search for that query within a specific folder. Is there any way to limit a bookmarks search to only a specific folder rather than the entirety of my bookmarks?

Hi, Why do we have double spaced bookmarks forced on us ?. It is an unnecessary nuisance having to now scroll down, with absolutely no advantage. Why o why is it that when the 'developers' ? are let loose the result is always less user friendly. I have only opened an account to let mozilla know that despite being with them for ever, unless you can tell me a simple and permanent fix, i will be changing to another browser. my bookmark star has disappeared from the search bar ( along with the little page icon for the more friendly reader version) weirdly when I opened this help page it is present again, but then when I try to reopen another tab it's gone again

been looking for a remedy can't find one that recent doesn't talk about the 3 little dots in the search bar

i opened firefox (v.95) and tried opening up my email and found that all my saved passwords were gone from firefox on my computer. it said i should crate a firefox account to get my logins back so i did and i still could not access any of my web logins. so i searched the help pages. opened up my profile n made a backup of my key3, key4, n loginjson files, downloaded v.91 firefox esr and copied my key3 file into a new profile.

so i still dont have my web logins ... n now i have an outdated version of firefox with none of my bookmarks either. im sick of troubleshooting n my wifi is almost out for the month.

how do i get my web logins and bookmarks back so i dont have to spend hundreds of hours recreating them?

Using Firefox version 99.0 (64bit). When I click "Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks, the listing defaults to the "Other Bookmarks" folder. I would like it to default to the "Bookmarks Menu" folder. How do I make it do that?
