I have downloaded two add-ons but can't find them
Hello
I have recently installed Firefox Mozilla and two add-ons that I needed.
They appear in the add ons menu and are activated.
But I cannot see them anywhere in Firefox
All menus are activated including the add-on bar which appears at the bottom of my screen but is empty
Where might the icons be for my add ons please?
Thanks in advance

It would help if you could tell us which add-ons you mean.
Some add-ons have their icon in the toolbar palette and you need to add them yourself to a toolbar. Other may only add menu or context menu entries.
I have this problem too. I went to add-ons, downloaded and installed the language translation program and cannot find the controls page that let's me use the add on. Where is it hiding?
What are the ad-ons? Have you tried downloading them again? You are asking for help but don't give much data.
Hello Fredmcd
In the Mozilla menu, I click on 'add ons' but it the pop up Mozilla page, they seem to be under extensions.
One of them was 'download you tube videos as mp4' and that is solved (it only appears when you download'
The other one is "encrypted communication 1.3' by Diego Casorran and I have never been able to locate it to use. On the site, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/encrypted-communication/ people say you just compose a message and then toggle with the icon but I don't see how I can compose a message in Mozilla

Good information. Lets take a look. Hmmmm... Very interesting. Let me try it out.

--- End of Encrypted Message
Well, it looks good from here. Go to the next message
box and enter something. After you are done, right click
in the box. Look near the bottom of the options for
encrypt-communication. Select it to run the
encryption. After, right click again and look for
decrypt-communication.
Some add-ons make you look around to find them.
Good luck.
jporter = What program are you using?
Hello again
I use Outlook if you are asking about the program I use for email
But I still don't get it. How do you type an email message to be encrypted in Mozilla ?
Everyone seems to type their message but where? In what window?
Regards
Most Firefox ad-ons work ONLY within Firefox. Read this instruction carefully. Go down to the Post A Reply box below this message. Enter a message in the box. Do NOT press the Post Reply button. Now right click in the box. Look near the bottom of the options for encrypt-communication. Select it to run the encryption. After, right click again and look for decrypt-communication. Now, as to Microsoft Outlook. As it is a separate program, the encrypt would not work on it ..... However .... Instead of Outlook, use Firefox to write your message. If Firefox has your e-mail information, you should be able to send a new message. If you are not sure how, go to your e-mail account via Firefox. When your account is displayed, select new message. Write your message. When you are done, do as instructed above to encrypt the message. And you should be done. Try sending a message to yourself first.
Hello Thanks. I finally get the general idea
Thanks

Not my lucky program but thanks anyway

The program does get some getting used to. BTW when decrypting, the program need everything from --- This message has been .... to .... --- End of Encrypted Message for the program to work.
Hello...again
Once again, I don't get it
I've sent the WHOLE message to myself. It goes out encrypted and comes back and the whole message is there in the window
The little button appears to decrypt and I type in the same password (123)
Then I get the same error again and again
Patience with me please
