"Shorten Url(Bit.ly)" error message

Every time I open a new page in Firefox, I get the following error message:

Shorten-URL preferences not loaded. [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED) [nsIAlertsService.showAlertNotification]" nsresult: "0x80004001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://shortenurl/content/ff-overlay.js :: shortenurl.fetchPrefs :: line 42" data: no]
