I am missing the clear history function in Firefox history menu
I am currently using Firefox 21. Since the 19, the "clear history" function in Firefox history menu has disappeared. So no way to click on it and clear history as desired, last hour...or everything. I have uninstalled and re-installed the browser several times no change. Only way to clear history is by deleting manually on the left side of the window after doing Ctrl+H. Is there any way to fix the browser?

That is the problem: the "Clear Recent History" is missing somehow.
does the shortcut ctrl+shift+del work in order to bring up the dialog? and can you try to replicate the problem when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

The shortcut brought up the dialog box. There was probably an add-on interference, I did a Firefox reset through Help >> troubleshooting Information. The entire appearance of Firefox changed and the "Clear history" is present in History menu. Thanks.
