Firefox 18 not displaying fonts, instead it shows blanks. Whats happening ? please help.
Now firefox won't display fonts, instead it shows blanks. The problem occurred in firefox 17. so I uninstalled it and installed ff 18. but the problem didn't solved. Tried clearing cache , cookie etc. didn't helped. The problem can be clearly seen in the screenshot http://tinypic.com/r/23t5ooh/6

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).
You can try different default fonts and temporarily disable website fonts to test the selected default font.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
- [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

thanks mate.. turning off the HW acceleration helped.. :)
