Yes because you are installing this addon from thirdparty sites, install thirdparty addon from only those source whom you trust,

on addon manager you will only find those addon which are hosted on AMO sites. those addon are also review everytime when developer upload any new version and then it become public.

so if you install addon from third party, you should trust him before procceed :)
