Ask toolbar, why do you automatically install it? I have never installed the ask tool bar, but have removed it three times. I do not want it. It serves no useful purpose. Why do I have it if I never enabled it? Why is it hard to remove?
Ask toolbar installing itself, when it is not wanted or needed.
I don't ever want to see the ask extensions again.
How can it be removed once and for all?

Ask Toolbar may have been bundled along with other software if you weren't careful to uncheck the option to install it (it's often checked by default). See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_toolbars for more on that.
To fully remove the Ask Toolbar, follow the removal instructions here:
- Disable or remove Add-ons (to remove it from the Firefox Add-ons Extensions list).
- http://asksupport.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2908 (to remove it from Windows Control Panel's installed programs list)
