I hope this is the right place to be asking these kind og questions. I haven't been able to find any answers to this, so I'm hoping for you to be able to answer me. :)

I love how the new Firefox 4 browser is progressing, and especially love the improved speed and thus the ability to use a web app such as grooveshark, which is now almost entirely based on JavasScript, rather than Flash. Since I'm now able to use Grooveshark I'm absolutely in love with the new idea of an app tab.

My two questions has something to do with the new app tab feature, which is as following:

Firstly: When I'm using an web app in my app tab, am I ever going to be able to hide the navigation bar? Is there made plans for the development of that particular feature?

Secondly: Is there made plans for persistent app tabs across multiple windows? I find it rater odd, that my pinned app tabs is not showing on all of my browser windows if should I choose to have multiple windows open. I know that this probably will be a bit difficult to implement. What will happen when interact with one app tab on one window, and then opens the same app tab on another window? Unless app tabs runs as seperate programs, it would be hard to maintain... But nevertheless my question is still the same. Is there made plans for persistent app tabs across multiple open windows? :)

Hope you can answer my questions since I have had a hard time trying to search for them myself in the interwebs!

1. Right-click any of the Toolbars and un-check Navigation Toolbar to hide it, or use View > Toolbars if the Menu bar is showing.

2. The MozillaZine Firefox Builds forum is where the Beta and Nightly testers hang out.

This was kinda helpful... thank you. :) Although it doesn't specifically enables me to hide the navigation on app tabs only, it does makes me able to experience how it can be which gives me hope for a better app tab experience in the near future. :)

Hi there, I realise that you posted this 5 months ago, and may have already found a solution since then, but I believe the extension Aaapptabs will accomplish what you are looking for. It hides the navigation bar on app tabs only.
