"Allow" redirection has suddenly started leaving me in an endless loop (any advice not already on support forum?).

Until today, Firefox 3.6.3 - (on Windows XP) was giving this message on the Washington Post site: "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." When I clicked on "Allow", it allowed the redirection. Today the blue progress line at the bottom indicates that it starts to load the redirection, but it stops before completion with the same message ("Firefox prevented this page...").

Follwing a message under support (Firefox prevents this page from automatically redirecting to another page. ), I tried unchecking "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page". This stopped the "Firefox prevented this page...", but left me in a loop which kept reloading almost to completion, then starting again.
