Forced into the homepage when selecting a tab

Sometimes when i am on the tab view and click in a tab instead of going to that tab i go to a nonexistent homepage (as in it doesn't appears in tab view), i then need to go back to the tab view and click in the tab i want again to actually go there.

I notice this mostly when going from a private tab to a normal one

Is this a intencional behavior, a setting i can change, or a bug?

This problem happens on firefox nightly for android

Hey, I just checked and the same problem doesn't happen to me it seems, for troubleshooting try to uninstall the application or clear data/cache. And reinstall it or use it again. 

As we know the firefox nightly is in fact an unstable app and this is very clearly mentioned in the playstore description.

So if the problem still persists then don't hesitate to give a heads up to the devs at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues

As it helps us improve and optimize the app to provide a better browsing experience to our users.
