Hi, We have three tabs open and all of them are assigned Personal. 1) Do we have three separate containers, none of which can see what the others are doing, but just happen to have the same name of Personal? Or, are we defeating the purpose of containers, by assigning all three tabs the same name of Personal, and allowing all three tabs the ability to see what the others are doing?

2) If we want to have three tabs that are private from each other, should we create containers with different names such as : Container #01, Container #02, and Container #03 ?

If we have three open tabs using Firefox Multi-Account Containers: 3) If it is being used correctly, is this equivalent to using a different browser for each tab?

1. "Personal" is a single container. Keep in mind that there's additional security in Firefox, for instance -> https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2021/02/23/total-cookie-protection/

2. Yes. See also -> https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/temporary-containers/

3. Mostly, but in reality it's just a separated set of cookies. Complex tracking systems could understand that this is the same user behind it.

Thank you for your reply and the links. Does Firefox Multi-Account Containers offer any protection that isn't provided by the combination of Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, the Disconnect add-on, and the uBlock Origin add-on? (I've been using Disconnect and uBlock Origin for years.)
