How to get rid of this icon in the url bar while searching
Hi there,
I was wondering if there is a way to disable the following icon that consistently appears in the url bar while searching the internet. I believe this came with a more recent update to Firefox since I'm on Firefox 94 (64 bit) and it has been annoying me greatly as of late. :/
The image is provided below.

I think that is showing the current search engine.

I believe so, and yes, I do use Google as my default search engine. However, I just don't like the idea of the tag floating in the url box like that. Especially because previous Firefox updates didn't showcase this.
And it is not like I'm going to switch to a different search engine anytime soon.
Also, I did uncheck the dialogue box in the search engine shortcuts, but that didn't seem to remove the tag regardless. So I'm rather stumped about this. :/
I believe that this icon is shown if you click the search engine icon. If it is your default search engine, this tab should not show up without you clicking. This icon means that Firefox will send anything you put in there as a search query, including urls and full paths.

So does this mean there's something wrong if the tag still shows up? Because Firefox has confirmed that Google is my default search engine.
Also my apologies if I sound dumb, what are full paths exactly?
