How do I fix this?

How do I fix this?

Hi

I have just tried to open an article from that site in the new Firefox Preview browser (available from the Google Play store) and while it did take a little time (long article with some large images), there were no error messages.

I recommend that you give Firefox Preview a try.

Hi

Do you have a link to the page where you are seeing this issue?

It's on CNN home page...CNN.com When I click a link to a story/video, that's when it hangs up, and the error appears. This happens only on my Android phone. No problem on my desktop/laptop. I've tried numerous fixes both found on Mozilla Support and internet searches. Nothing works so far. I've also tried deleting and reinstalling Firefox. If you think you have a fix, great. If not, I'm thinking I'll have to use a different browser on my phone.

Thanks. The Firefox Preview version seems to be working (so far)...

I'm sorry, but the "Chosen Solution" is far from a solution... If there is a problem with Firefox Mobile and the CNN website, a "solution" isn't to go install something else and use that. When my car has a problem, a "solution" to the problem isn't to go buy a new car.

Can someone please address the annoying "A Script Has Stopped Working" error on the CNN website? In theory, it should take an hour or two of someone's time from Mozilla plus CNN's website team to figure this out. Both big companies, address the issue and find a solution. A quick investigation of the problem indicates it's with one of the advertisements on the page. Please, don't punt the issue, roll up your sleeves and fix it. I left Firefox before due to similar behavior, and I'm trying hard to give it another chance. Fix the problems, stop spending time on new "features".

Anyone? Firefox Mobile isn't a viable option if you can't handle a mainstream website like CNN.....

This has been an issue for a while for me. If anyone is trying to replicate it, please click on just about any CNN post and scroll down. The page should partially load and then the script error occurs. Very annoying and makes it difficult to close the browser and reopen without freezing up. I have to use chrome for CNN.

I have Android 10 with latest Firefox on a LG V60

Please resolve this Mozilla!

Thanks
