Despite reinstalling, updating, refreshing, removing all browsing history and cookies Firefox always put at least 26 old sites from years ago along the top of the home page. desperate for help. I have spent many hours if not days trying every single suggestion to no avail. I am using the latest window 10

Perhaps you are referring to the Bookmarks Toolbar?

Please provide a screenshot of the toolbar area at the top of the Firefox browser window.

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

Thank you for your reply. I have deleted all history all bookmarks. After closing and reopening the Firefox browser, it puts at least 26 web pages back along the top of the page. I cant take a screenshot as it isn't actually on the page. It is above the page. I have reinstalled Firefox numerous times. Updated to latest version. i left uninstalled for several weeks and used Microsoft edge. However I had only really ever used Firefox in the last 10 years or so. It has never done this before????

Happy to try all suggestions. Regards, Trish
