Touchscreen display problems
I've been having problems with my Firefox app for a few weeks now, I'm hoping you could help me out.
It always worked perfectly fine, but recently for some reason it's not behaving correctly.
The major issue is the touchscreen. When I click on a particular line for example it selects a line from much higher up the page, totally unrelated to what I'm trying to select.
I don't know if this happened due to a recent update or not, I can't remember sorry. I've removed and reinstalled the app, no difference. I've also today just updated the app again, same problem still.
There are no other issues with my phone, its a Sony Experia Z5 Compact and it's in perfect working order. I had been using the app like that for more than a year, maybe even 2 years until this sudden problem.
Also, I have another phone, a Wileyfox Swift, and the Firefox app works perfectly fine on that unit.
Can you advise me of a solution to this please ?
Thanks for your time.

An issue could actually be with the phone. Do other apps on it have the same problem? If so, try booting your phone in safe mode to find out if an app that you have downloaded is the issue. Here's how: 1) Press and hold down the power key. 2) In the pop-up window, attempt to touch and hold 'Power Off' until the 'Reboot to Safe Mode' message appears. 3) Touch OK and let your device reboot in safe mode.
If the touch screen works fine in safe mode, an app may be the issue.
Please reply if you have any further questions, or if it's just Firefox having the issue. Hope this helps!
Hi octo Thanks for your reply But no, every single other thing is fine, it's just that one website on the Firefox app
So that we can look into this issue further for you, what is the website that is causing this problem?
I don't know if you'll be able to see anything from there cos it's a work website and requires a login
Are any of the people that you work with having a similar issue?
