Why can't I see form fill fields?
On some, not all, web sites, form fields are black with dark grey type. They are virtually invisible.
I am using Mint 19 with a Dark Theme and was using Google Chrome until recently. I've never seen this issue before.
I am mostly happy since returning to Firefox, but this problem is one that I must solve.

Are you using a dark theme in Ubuntu?
You can try to select the default theme in Firefox via the customize page.
Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.
