Using the Disconnect feature in Firefox the disconnecting from the Sync server shouldn't have affected your Firefox data within Firefox at all; nor should that have affected your data on the Sync server.

What about the other devices that you have connected to that Sync account? Is your data still there?

Are you sure that is all you did?

Have you tried to connect that device back with the Sync server? Don't try that if you changed your Sync password - that will delete your data from the Sync server.
