Restore tab colors
To my discomfort my web browser updated this morning and now has a very different look. The tabs are very dark gray/black with white text while everything else is still dark text on light background. This contrast makes it very hard for me to switch between reading the tabs and the rest of the UI and makes browsing quite difficult. How can I fix it?
Also the border between the web site and top menu is very vague, just a 1 px medium gray border that often has the same lighter gray on both its side.

Hi, open the 3-bar menu > Customize, and have look at Themes and (maybe) Density. You can also change the theme in the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Themes.

I solved the first issue by going to Menu > Customize... > Themes and selecting Light.
Not having the text and background colors inverted in different parts of the UI shouldn't have to be an opt-in though. Either you have a light theme or a dark theme. Having both simultaneously is really bad for accessibility as it forces the users eyes to constantly adjust back and forth between the two.
Now that the browser frame is more internally consistent it's also a lot easier to see where the frame ends and where the website starts, although I think this boundary should be more clear, e.g. by a very subtle gradient of just a few pixels at the bottom of the toolbar.

Follow up question: Do other people also see dark text on white background and vice versa both at the same time by default (left image), or is it because my Windows theme or something? I can't see why anyone would want this and suspect it wasn't even intended.
