How to shut off bookmarks entirely. I don't want them ever saved.

Of course, (windows 10) (control shift b) will get me to a listing where I can individually sort, expunge, or keep bookmarks. But I do sensitive work, and I want to have firefox NEVER save bookmarks.

Hi puterabbi, Firefox doesn't save bookmarks on its own. Do you find yourself adding bookmarks accidentally?

There is a "smart folder" (blue icon) on your Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar which shows your most frequently visited sites. That is a window into your history. Did you want to turn off history??
