Firefox will no longer warn me when closing multiple tabs
I tried all the tips for going into about:config and making sure browser.tabs.warnOnClose is set to TRUE and "When Firefox Starts:" is set to "show blank page", but it still won't warn me when closing multiple tabs. I used to always get the warning and now nothing will restore it. Also, when I go into OPTIONS, I used to have an option there for "TABS" where I could set tab settings, but that is no longer there either. I am running Firefox 49.0.1 In Private Browsing on Windows 10. PLEASE HELP!! I am so used to having that warning stop me from closing all the tabs at once that I am now losing all my work with no warning.

Is there a problem when not using Private Browsing?

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
I just checked and I still get the warning when not using InPrivate Browsing. But I have been using InPrivate for ages. What would cause it to stop warning me about closing multiple windows at once only in InPrivate Browsing?
And no, I don't have any of that other software you mentioned running nor have I loaded anything new in the last several months other than doing regular Firefox updates.
I've called for more help.
Does anyone have any further idea of why this may be happening? It has been a couple of days since last response...
