I don't want to update Acrobat for Reader
Trying to open PDF. Get hijacked to page saying to update my Acrobat to Reader. I don't want to change to reader. I just want to open the PDF. How do I get past this page in my way? Example, http://www.jthoracdis.com/article/view/3133/html.

You are not changing the reader, you are updating it. The update warnings are built in and you will get it any time you end up on a page that wants to use a plugin.
