I lost 3 tab icons on the tab page, now only 3. I can't add more. Linux Mint 17
I performed an update to Mint 17, after that I only have 3 tabs on the tab page.I can't add more.Is this permanent?
Why did Firefox reduce the number of tabs on the tab page? there were 9 in the beginning of the page, now only 3.
I would like 12 at least, if mobiles can have this why not puters?

Hi, I'm not familiar with Linux, but this does work in Windows, so it may help to point you in the right direction: You can change the number of tiles on the New Tab Page by zooming in or out.
You may also want to keep the same zoom setting when clicking on a new tab: Type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtab.preload and double click on it to change 'Value' from True to False.
It is also possible in about:config to change the maximum number of tiles, by scrolling down to browser.newtabpage.columns (or .rows), then right click > Modify, to set a new number in 'Value.'
As an alternative, you may like to try the add-on New Tab Tools.

Thanks, I was unaware of the reduce page size to show more tabs, I have 12 now :)
