I have aol with monzilla. Is there an updated version? This is for an old Dell with XP, with windows 8.. AOL is 9.7. Very slow and often not responding. ( lots of plugin problems)I have done reg repairs, virus scans, malware, cleaned history, etc. I know it's time for a new PC. Maybe I can eek this one out for the short haul. Outside of the dumpster what can you tell me?

I get a message that says I am already running the latest version of Foxfire There has to be something running in the background that is causing freeze up and not responding. the task bar shows 99% idle time and I get not responding message. I have Avast for antivirus it could be in there. Thank you for getting back so fast.

Hi again

Hmm moolah!

well if you have avast I would assume it is the free version (as good as it is) I would look at an anti-malware program aswell just to give it a backup bruv when it goes into them "tight" situations if you know what I mean

I recomend https://www.malwarebytes.org/

As it has a free trial for you to get rid of them bad eggs quickly.

Let me know how you get on Brad

I have already used that version of malware. Nothing was found. I have malware on Glarysoft as well. I am sure something is just not compatible and I am trying to avoid $$$. Probably time to bite the bullet and get something in the 21st century.

Thank you for taking the time to help out. Hey if you need a boat anchor I know where you can get one  : )

Hmm well only other thing I can think off is to re-install or install the Beta version and see if it was indeed a compatability issue and if the dev team have already resolved the issue for you.

best of luck :)

I have downloaded BETA and run updates. With a little luck we might see some improvements. Right now it will be wait and see.

Thank you again
