Stop Sites From Changing my Clipboard
Hello,
I access several sites that seem to add their own informational text on everything I try to copy to the clipboard. How can I disable it for particular sites or all sites?
Example: http://journal-neo.org
If I try and copy any text from an article from the site above I get the following text attached: "First appeared: http://journal-neo.org/...."

That is done via JavaScript:

I am not trying to remove formatting. The text being copied is normal text, however, the site append to the end its own text message.

Can you post examples of what you wanted, and what gets copied?
Just go to that website and select some text and copy that to the clipboard.

The only way I found to avoid this is to enable caret browsing (F7) and click at the start of the text and use the cursor keys and Shift to select the text and copy via Ctrl+C. You get the extra text if you use the mouse to make the selection (you can't adjust/extend the selection in that case).
Thank you. I never knew anything about caret browsing. It is not ideal, but it is better than nothing.
