Hello, Firefox will open my HTM (not HTML!) home page stored on a local server at home when I access it from intranet, but will not open it over internet (accessed through a ddns server), it will just show the HTML code as text instead of parsing it as HTML page. The same page will be opened over internet normally with Chrome or IE. Please suggest how to solve the issue.

I don't want to publish here the address to my web page, but, if necessary, I could email it to a secure address, or I can share the code over github.

Thank you in advance. Steve

Thank you for the hints, some header info was missing, this caused Firefox not to parse the HTML tags. Strangely, the same page with same missing header info was rendered correctly (with HTML tags) on a home PC in the intranet. Anyway, thanks again for your support.

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.

Maybe, because htm should work. Do there happen to be any extra comment tags at the top of the file?

Firefox will only render HTML code if the server is sending the file with text/html. If you use a non-standard file extension like .htm then that is not guaranteed.
