synchronization with Lighting
Dear All,
I do not use smartphone with Firefox OS, but it is something I think to do in the future. I would like to ask you if it is possible to synchronize callendars in phone with Lighting callendar/Thunderbird. Now I use just simple phone without any system like Android/Mozilla/Microsoft and I cannot synchronize callendars from phone and Lighting callendar. I keep data locally on computer, and do not want to use external eg Google callendars etc. I hope you can help me.

Hi Snakr,
Firefox OS supports synchronizing Calendars in either Yahoo!, Gmail, or CalDav accounts. It is currently not possible to synchronize calendars that are kept locally on your computer.
I just did a quick search, and it seems that there are easy-to-use ways of implementing a CalDav server on your computer. Here is one of those:

Thank you a lot for your help. It seems your solution can be good solution. As I do not have mobile phone with Mozilla OS, I cannot check it how it works with this solution. I do not need to change my phone now, so I will wait till Mozilla OS will support synchronization of callendars kept locally on computer. It would be great advantage for Mozilla OS if it is compatible with all Mozilla programs. Nokia could be synchronized, but only if you have their Outlook (Microsoft), and it was not possible to synchronize Mozilla THunderbird callendar (Lighting).
