Simple question: does remove "old" Sync account erase previously synced bookmarks and passwords ?

I got a short question and a long story. If one of you can answer I'll be really happy.
My question is very easy: I have to remove my old Sync account on my Smartphone in order to create the new one. ( If I don't do I can't add device, thanks to the last update. ) Will I lose all my Firefox synced data if I do it ? Or removing an account doesn't erase previously imported bookmarks ?
It is very VERY important since my Smartphone is my last device with Sync and I use Firefox since at least five years.
I'm afraid to validate the erasing account action because Mobile Firefox warns me about data loss. Better for me to keep unsyncable bookmarks than syncable nothing.

Hi Calvi, I am glad there is a warning. If you set up the account with the device that has the bookmarks you want this will copy it over to all devices after. IF you have already set up a profile on another device that does not have any items of the profile you wish to preserve it will be overwritten. Also back it up before you proceed.

Hi Calvi, I need to correct myself. I took this from an rnewman response to correct if the first device is blank, this was not accurate: "It explicitly doesn't delete anything from a device unless one of two things is true:
There are records on the server with the same ID, marked as deleted. This only happens if you have a client that deletes a record and then syncs. This is the flow that's happening when you've deleted a bookmark on one machine and it disappears on the others.
One of the devices has sent a wipe command to the others, or in Sync 1.1 you chose to wipe the local device during setup. This shouldn't be possible at all in the Firefox Account-based Sync, so I think we can rule it out in your case.

Removing the account will stop syncing. Each time the old sync would sync, the information stored on the server would overwrite the previous sync. Deleting the account will also delete the old information.
