Installed ff9.01 on OSx10.7.2 on 2 iMacs, on start ff 1 asks for user profile the other doesn't why?

I have installed ff on 2 new iMacs. iMac1 requests a new user profile each time I open the ff app. iMac2 ff opens without requesting a user profile. I have deleted all ff install items on iMac1 and reinstalled ff. iMac1 continues to ask for a user profile before opening. FF asks each time the app is opened to create a new user profile even though a profile has been previously saved. The saved profile is not visible when ff is opened the next time. There is only 1 user on both Macs.
