Why do I keep having to reconnect to Sync?

Each time I click on 'Reconnect to Sync', then receive an e-mail with the subject 'Confirm new sign-in to Firefox'. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I've refreshed Firefox but unfortunately I keep getting disconnected from Sync.

EDIT_2: Not sure what happened, but Sync now seems to be working properly.
