The site is http://southbayfire.org/ and all pages work fine and all photos view properly, except this page's photo displays the first time, but on subsequent views, or if I press F5, it disappears. I can rightclick on the blank section and copy URL and open in new window and the photo shows. The website itself is simple HTML. The problem does not happen with Chrome or Opera. I also checked in a FIrefox clone, Icedragon, and the same issue is present there. I'm really stumped by this. I have access to this site to fix this, but I'm really clueless on why this happens in Firefox. Thanks for any help or tips. I'm using Firefox 58 and running Win 7 Pro, 64-bit and shockwave Flash. david

If Firefox believe an image is corrupted, it will not display it, so perhaps that is the issue.

There seems to be something odd about that image file. On my first load and on reload (Ctrl+r), it is very pixelated for me (see attached). On a reload bypassing cache (Ctrl+Shift+r), it finally loads clearly.

I saved the image to view in PhotoShop Elements and it gave me this error message when I tried to open it:

So even though Firefox can sometimes display it normally and Windows Preview looks normal, there appears to be something unusual about this file, or the web server is a little bit flaky in serving it.

No problems here, even did F5 and background was guys standing in-front of a boat. So if you got some Addon or aggressive A/V that could also be blocking the images as well. Used FF58.0.2x64 to open the page.

I'm surprised. The page in question is

http://southbayfire.org/membership.htm

All other pages on that site work fine except this one. It's difficult to believe that an antivirus program would prevent just one page's photo from showing.

For a 'sanity check', I brought out my old Win XP machine, loaded Firefox 52.6 on it and had the same experience. That old PC was not running an antivirus program or any addons. I loaded Firefox from scratch. And no other browser for me has that problem. Maybe there's no solution, but I believe there is a subtle bug, either on that web page that confuses Firefox or within Firefox. I hope to get some more feedback on this. Thanks much for your investigating the issue.

Can't be a bug in FF otherwise I would've had the same problem when refreshing the page but nothing showed up.

Jscher2000, you SOLVED the issue. I never would have thought of that. I downloaed the JPG, used GIMP to export to a PNG and it works perfectly now. This had been bothering me for several days and I do thank you for seeing the issue so quickly. Thanks again, david
