I recently installed Firefox on a new Windows 8.1 laptop. My search uses Google. Firefox version is now 36.0. Every time I open the browser, as well as Google, a Firefox tab opens ahead of Google: the URL is https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/. The text is telling me " Congrats! You’re using the latest version of Firefox" and "Give Firefox a tune up" It's not really a problem; more of a nuisance and inconvenience that I'd really like to get rid of.
