I see my original question is now archived at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1380948#question-reply I never closed it because I didn't know if my last process could really fix the issue. It didn't, not always. Over the years, there have been times when the issue would still pop up, but not as often as before (2022 and earlier).

I have a feeling that during an issue, FF is having difficulty setting up shop after starting up. Consequently, it is spending more time before it could become prepared to connect to the Net. I've come up with another "solution," which is deleting (or moving out) xulstore.json in the profile folder after exiting or before starting FF. You can create a batch command or script to execute the process.

So far, FF is connecting immediately after startup.

Hello, By default, DoH fails on Max Protection in the latest OS versions listed above. The workaround I've discovered is using https://1.1.1.1/dns-query, but I would rather use the default settings.

Hello, this may not be a problem with Firefox itself at all, but I'd like to try to understand what the cause of the problem I and others are having.

I have Norton 360 installed, in this Windows 10 computer and like to use Firefox for internet browsing, it has always served me well.

I also have Norton Safe Search integrated/add-on to Firefox. This puts a red, green, or gray check mark at the end of each link that comes up during a search and has always worked before.

Recently, I've noticed that such check marks do not appear at all when doing a search with Firefox, but they are present when I do searches with MS Edge.

I am searching for a solution here, and also in the Norton Community. There are others there who have stated they are having the same problem.

Has anyone here heard of this before, would you have any suggestion as to what may be causing the lack of the Norton Safe Search check marks in Firefox searches?

Any input/suggestions would be welcome.

Since upgrading to the last version, 125.0.3 I'm getting tab crashes. Is there any way to go to a previous version? I have not had any issues with the websites I'm visiting until this new version of Firefox.

I'm trying to determine if I'm having a Firefox issue or not. I've been using Firefox for many years and frequently use private windows.

I've got a new laptop with Windows 11 and have been noticing that my private windows are sometimes closing unexpectedly. After which, I can't get my tabs back. This has only happened with private windows, and not regular windows.

Is this an issue that's being reported in the community? Thanks.

hi the translate fucion in firefox is vry usefull, but i want to NOT TRANSLATE ANYTHING EXCEPT sites i select only

i.e. surfing around german site.. .leave it german, but i if i am interest in "german.de/talkshow" select it and translate only this

i see option to translate EVERYTHING and use some exception, but its the opposite of what looking for

The file icons on by desktop were always the standard color but now the are blue and white why did this happen. I know I can change each one back individually but how can I change them in mass.

When I press the pause button on my keyboard, it doesn't stop the YouTube video like it used to. I'm not sure why it stopped working. I've checked the key, and it works fine in Chrome.

I choose a new theme. After a while, I close Firefox. When I start Firefox again, my chosen theme appears briefly, then the default theme replaces it. Why? FYI: it doesn't happen with just one theme.

My sign-in ID is aaaan email that has been cancelled. As long as they don't asl me to retrieve any codes oranything it works of course. If anything is sent to that email I can not retrieve it. Usually kepping me out of Fire fox. I need to see if amyonr know how to change your sign-in ID>

when i amon a webpage& click to go to home screen takes about 10 minutes & i have hi speed inernet & th slide bar on side dont go to top when changing pages getting worse please fix it

Why are my bookmarks all of a sudden not working anymore.

Selecting the saved bookmark from DudkDuckGo or Firefox does not load the page.

Did i change a setting accidentally/

Did Mozilla change the functionality?

What's going on?

Note: I can access the page by going directly to its URL ... but what's the point of bookmarks if that is necessary?

There's also no way to add an exception? Just completely broken at the moment. I have to disable OCSP stapling to get it to work at all, which is less then ideal.

Currently using 125.0.3 (64-bit). I checked for newer versions of firefox and it's not saying anything. Chrome and Edge work fine. Encountered this on an android tablet with firefox, and went to desktop and hit the same thing.
