Ok, try the following:

  1. Download Firefox 16.0.1 from www.getfirefox.com. Install it on your computer, restart your PC.
  2. After updating Firefox, try to go to start, control panel, and the Add or Remove Programs. remove anything related to the yandex bar, or any browser toolbars.
  3. See if you can open Firefox.
