after updating firefox in april 2012, website fonts are all over the place. I've used all the 'fixes' listed online, nothing. explorer views perfectly. help!
I'm looking at my own professional website. I've been hosting it for eight years and have NEVER had this problem.
when I load the site, nine pages show an intermittent heavy, bolded geneva font. when I view the page source, I see only arial, times new, sans serif (as the site was coded)...and this is NOT what's viewing in firefox.
frustratingly, the bolded font is intermittent, half a sentance in one paragraph shows as a bold, heavy geneva, and the rest looks normal.
I've cleared the cache many times, reset the zoom, checked proxy, etc etc.
the site views PERFECTLY in internet explorer, and looks like it has for eight years. I've had friends check on iphones, ipads, desktops and laptops and if they have the new firefox, the problem persists.
this is my livelihood, and having a shabby looking website really hurts my business. I can't ask everyone who browses my site to twiddle with their firefox settings...that's unprofessional and no good.
I'll do whatever I have to to fix this, and am completely stumped.

I'm sorry to hear you are facing issues with the fonts on Firefox. I haven't personally had any problem visiting your website using Firefox 12.0 and everything seemed fine. I think that you might want to take a look at the following support articles that will help you troubleshoot the problem:

You have two nested STRONG tags in that part of the code and that causes a font-weight: 900
On Windows 7 a font-weight of 900 and the Arial font specified causes the Arial Black font to get selected.

EXCELLENT. I have found and removed all the extraneous STRONG codes in the site. I don't know how they got there - I design in dreamweaver MX in design view, and don't code anything manually.
regardless, the problem is fixed, the site looks as it has, and I really, really apprecaite the help.
