Every other site i visit with the most up-to-date firefox has the damn security issue. Not only major sites like craigslist, but local sites where I MUST pay my bills! I've been using this browser for over 10 years, get your crap together or say goodbye to alot of users!!!!!!!!!

Since you have not clearly said if any error messages or what is happening I will suggest this 1st : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected

Are you getting any error messages?
