Thunderbird suddenly moved my wife's "Sent" folder from the top of the folder pane, with Archive, Drafts, etc., to the alphabetical list.
I want to reorder the Folder Pane so that the "Sent" folder is back at the top, where it has always been.
This may not be relevant, but my wife's mail server is a University computer. It is an IMAP server but for some reason it keeps all its folders as subfolders of the Inbox. At least, that is how it shows on Thunderbird, but I am not even sure that there are separate subdirectories on the computer. When I do "subscribe" I see only one folder, the Inbox.

Ordinarily, Thunderbird shows Accounts, not individual folders. There is a view, called Unified Folders, that groups together all the same kind of folder in each account, so it presents a composite Inbox, a composite Sent folder and so on. But AFAIK this view wouldn't let you re-sort the folders, so can't be what you used to place Sent at the top.
There is an addon called Manually Sort Folders which lets you re-sort accounts, and folders within accounts, but again, it wouldn't let you promote a Sent folder to the very top.
I'm guessing you marked Sent as a "favorite" and set it to View|Folders|Favorites.
Thank you for the reply. I am sorry, but it does not address the problem as my we are experiencing it. However, the problem spontaneously cured itself yesterday, so for the moment I will not pursue this query.
Thank you again.
