I am setting up Virtual smart cards to log into my system with and have to visit sites that use the card for access it work in both IE 11 and Chrome but have not been able to get Firefox to read the VSC.

By coincidence, i have seen this problem myself recently, and I think that the solution may be the same.

The provider of the smart card service or reader should be able to supply you with a Firefox add-on that will allow this to work. I recommend you speak to their support team in the first instance.
