I followed the steps in `Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can', tried browse in safe mode, set the proxy to `no proxy' and `system proxy' - which is also no proxy, and I still cannot display any website. Error Message is `Unable to connect'. I checked Firefox is not working in offline mode. Also monitored with the built-in developer tools, in the `Network' section, any HTTP GET method returns no response. In `Timings', DNS resolution completes in 2 or 3 hundred ms, but Connecting, Sending, Waiting, Receiving are always 0ms. I did not use any 3rd party firewalls, but no matter I turned on or turned off the Windows Firewall, it doesn't helps.

IE can work well. And I tried use fiddler to monitor the network traffic, what is interesting, when fiddler's running and set Firefox to `System proxy', websites can be loaded... Any other desktop applications can visit network, games, battle.net can work well.

Hello pomelo, try to create a new profile in firefox, to do that completely close all running firefox tabs and windows and hit start and R to go to Run, then type in: firefox.exe -P and click on create new profile and follow the steps, after it's finished try and see if any changes happen and write us back

Seems no help. I tried Google Chrome, same problem happens. Weird.

then it might be some issues with your anti-virus, try to disable live scan temporary and restart the firefox again

It doesn't solve the problem, but you helped me to find the way. After doing a full Windows Update, it is good now. Great Thanks
