After I reinstalled the Firefox, I signed into my account using sync. But I could not find any of my bookmarks in the bookmarks menu.

I had issues with my PC, so I refreshed my Windows 8.1 PC. While doing so Firefox was uninstalled. After I installed Firefox again and signed into my Firefox account using "Sync", I could not find any of my older bookmarks in the Firefox

Hi Ashrocks,

If you have a back up of your profile from before your bookmarks are located in the places.sqlite file. Recovering important data from an old profile is a helpful link how to restore these bookmarks.
