I don't know if this is the best place to ask this because its directly related to Firefox. I've been digging through Support threads to figure out how to get my tabs back after a W10 update. I was able to get a few "recovery.jsonlz4" files using Shadow Explorer thanks to helpful archived posts by jscher2000, but I'm stuck on what to do with them. 1) When I try to load them in Scrounger, the tab hangs and crashes? 2) Following advice from a different thread, I tried renaming "recovery.jsonlz4" to "sessionstore.jsonlz4" but it pulled some other file from the "sessionstore-backups" folder. 3) I tried it again after renaming the "sessionstore-backups" folder to "sessionstore-backupsOLD", but this time it pulled from some other, much older file somewhere -- it gave me a session from a year or two ago. Could it have been pulling from this old "sessionstore.js" file? 4) I tried it again after renaming "sessionstore.js" to "sessionstoreOLD.js" and it just opened a brand new session. In all these instances, there was either no option to Restore Previous Session or the option was grayed out and it restored from some other session automatically.
